Lawaan as First in Eastern Samar and Second in Region 8 for Adolescent Friendly Health Facility Level 1 September 19, 2023, Municipality of Lawaan was recognized as the first facility in Eastern Samar and second in the entire Region 8 for having Barangay Health Station Certified Level 1 of Adolescent Friendly Health Facility or AFHF. This was given after Barangay Health Station of Bolusao successfully complied and passed all the asked requirements. According to Ma’am Lady Lyn A. Candilosas, they offer basic health services to all adolescents every friday from 8:00am to 5:00pm The goal is to guarantee that every teenager has access to services related to their health. And for this reason, it is encouraged that every teenager visit Brgy. Bolusao, particularly those who are in need of assistance or have any concern about their medical health.
