Bio:
Hon. ATHENE I. LAGRIMAS-MENDROS is the 16th elected Municipal Mayor of Lawaan, Eastern Samar and is currently serving Lawananons for two terms now. Her kind of leadership is deeply rooted on three basic principles: transparency, compassion and inclusivity. She focused on organizational management and process reengineering in the LGU. The development of Lawaan and priority thrusts are anchored on her leadership principles transcending to the five development sectors: social, economic, infrastructure, environment and institution. These capture the major aspiration of Lawananon and thus, encapsulate the desire of our people for the best quality of life, environmental sustainability and utmost sectoral productivity.
